LA Networking Matters second annual networking event, Cinco de Mayo, held at the Miyako Hotel in Torrance, brought together over 275 local business leaders and raised $10,000 for two charities located in the South Bay – Peninsula Seniors of Rancho Palos Verdes and Pediatric Therapy Network (PTN) in Torrance.
Beneficiaries
Peninsula Seniors will apply a portion of the money raised to their Quality of Life Scholarship Fund, which offers scholarships to students attending California State University, Long Beach who are pursuing a degree in gerontology. Pediatric Therapy Network (PTN) will use the money raised to help fund Camp Escapades – A three week program that offers recreational experience to children with special needs, ages four to thirteen. For more information on this program, please visit www.pediatrictherapynetwork.org
