LA Networking Matters first annual networking event, April Fools, was held at the Shade Hotel in Manhattan Beach. There were over 145 businesses, decision makers and entrepreneurs in attendance to network and raise awareness and money for local charities – Peninsula Seniors of Rancho Palos Verdes and the Manhattan Beach Coordinating Council.
Beneficiaries
Peninsula Seniors will apply a portion of the money raised to their Quality of Life Scholarship Fund, which offers scholarships to students attending California State University, Long Beach who are pursuing a degree in gerontology. Manhattan Beach Coordinating Council will use the money raised to continue their mission, which is to encourage cooperation and communication among agencies, organizations, and individuals interested in making the Manhattan Beach community a better place to live.
